TeVoVi ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our live answering service platform.
Information We Collect
- Phone number (for account verification and service delivery)
- Business name and contact information (during onboarding)
- Call handling preferences and custom scripts
- Call recordings and transcripts (for quality assurance)
- Usage data, analytics, and device information (IP address, browser type)
How We Use Your Information
- To verify your identity via SMS one-time passcode
- To provide and improve our answering service
- To send lead notifications via text and email
- To analyze calls for quality assurance using AI-assisted tools
- To communicate service updates and billing information
SMS/Text Messaging Consent & TCPA Disclosures
By providing your mobile phone number and creating a TeVoVi account, you provide prior express written consent to receive: (a) transactional SMS messages including one-time passcodes (OTP) for authentication, and (b) lead notification SMS messages alerting you to new caller inquiries captured by our service. Message frequency varies based on your login activity and inbound call volume. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent is not a condition of purchase — you may use TeVoVi with email-only notifications by contacting support@tevovi.com. You may revoke SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Your carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Call Recording & Monitoring
Calls to or from TeVoVi agents may be monitored and/or recorded for quality assurance, training, and security purposes. By using the Services or continuing a call after being notified, you consent to such recording and monitoring to the extent permitted by applicable law, including two-party consent states. If you do not consent, please notify us at support@tevovi.com to discuss alternative arrangements.
AI-Powered Quality Assurance Disclosure
We use AI-assisted tools to evaluate and improve service quality, including analyzing call recordings, transcripts, and message content for quality assurance, coaching, and fraud detection. AI outputs support human review and are not the sole basis for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. AI-processed data is protected under our data security measures.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. OTP codes are hashed before storage and automatically expire. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Service Providers
We use service providers to help deliver the Services, including telecommunications and messaging providers (e.g., Telnyx) to send OTP and transactional notifications. These providers process your data only on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your information.
Data Retention Schedule
We retain your personal information according to the following schedule, after which data is securely deleted or de-identified:

Post-Termination Data Handling
Upon account termination, we will disable access to the Services and begin deletion of your data from active systems in accordance with our retention schedule. You may request confirmation of deletion by contacting support@tevovi.com. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
Your Privacy Rights by State
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
California (CCPA/CPRA):You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of its sale. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.
Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA): You may exercise similar rights to access, delete, correct, and port your data. You may also opt out of targeted advertising and profiling.
To exercise any right, email privacy@tevovi.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
